Loperamide getting the better of me, need help and support. - Part 174

By Roaddoggy · Sep 8, 2014 · ·
  1. Well Nefret, If you Google Loperamide addiction, both of our threads pop up. But You and I have the biggest Loperamide threads in the world. With the exception of The loperamide Mega thread. Which I'm half way, to beating. 1000 posts. We may get this thread there.

Glad to help. Feel free to inform me, of others who may need our help. Ill do what I can to lead them to water. Thanks for all your hard work, and for stopping in. Much love. Roaddog....

I can't believe that doctor was insisting that Tramadol is non-addictive! Where did he get his license?? I've definitely watched an ex-friend nod out mid-sentence on just Tramadol. Granted, she probably took...I'd say at least ten 50 mg pills in a 12 hour span. She even gave me some pills and stole them out of my purse instead of just asking for them back (not sure what that was about)! She definitely had and still may have a problem with opiates including Tramadol.

I'm flipping happy to say that I haven't had a panic attack since starting the lope or getting off of it. I am noticing some increased generalized anxiety, which does suck, but it's not as bad as it could be! It could be so so so much worse...Also, thank you for creating that blog. It scared the crap out of me and I needed that. If I wouldn't have seen that sooner, I probably would have believed that I wasn't doing that much damage to my body since I was still pooping semi-regularly (sorry for the TMI but I'm just being honest)!

Roaddoggy, I sent you a direct message but it looks like it didn't work (I was on my phone) asking you about your usage of Kava Kava. It's something I'm interested in, and I'm actually waiting for my first sample. Since becoming clean I've just recently noticed some sleeping and anxiety issues coming back up, and I've got a lot to do. Anxiety has only gotten to get in my way and I'm tired of it... I was just wondering what type of Kava you used, if you built a tolerance, just basic questions. If you've already answered these questions elsewhere, just let me know!

Roaddoggy! Sorry to have not caught up with you for ages, this website is so massive that it sometimes boggles my mind, there are so many threads. I'm so glad to read that you've done so well with the loperamide withdrawal and good luck with your slow taper off valium, I hope it goes well for you.

Roadoggy, I had a chance to read through this thread over the weekend and I must say how inspired and moved I am by all of it. Not just what you've gone through and wrote, but the support and kindness by all here. This is truly a fantastic support thread and great information for anyone who is looking for help to find on it.

I know you've heard it a few times already but I must say how sorry I am for all that you and your wife have gone through. It's tough to read as I am a father as well and would be devastated if that happened and I'm sorry if it's rubbing salt in old wounds but I wanted to tell you how strong you both are for dealing with it and for just moving forward in life with all that has happened.

I know with what your wrote the endearing words you have through all of this and it's truly an inspiration to anyone whether they are trying to get off drugs or whatever, or even just trying to find perspective in life how you are able to make it through the darkest of times and still see the light at the end of the tunnel. I feel for you brother and wish only the best for you and your family in the future.

I'm glad you are feeling somewhat better after a tough stint off the loperamide and wish you well with your taper off Valium. Good luck brother
