  1. Day 15

(I actually had to look at a calander and count LOL)

Feeling a little irritated today. I'm not having any physical WD symptoms even worth mentioning but I have been feeling anxious lately and its just irritating me that I can deal with the other symptoms but this one is bothering me the most. Its a new feeling and I don't know how to fully deal with it yet. Just had a doctors appointment to follow up on how everything was going. I didnt mention this to him because he over medicates. Blah

    Have a great day everyone!!

    Thanks ;-)

    Smith,

You sound good. I have found the best way to deal with anxiety is exercise, chamomile tea and restorative yoga. Google "legs up the wall" position and put yourself in it for 15 minutes when the anxiety comes. I have done this at work in my office. Keep going strong my friend. The healing takes a little while just keep going.

    Hugs, JD

Thanks JD. I'll look that up and give it a try. I find that it only affects me at night. I have been running almost every morning and with working I wonder if I'm just not noticing it during the day. Either way I'm thankful its not too bad but still irritating none the less.

Thanks for the advice. I'll try it tonight and see how it goes. I may just be over thinking this.

I just read through your thread and you should be really proud of yourself, you've achieved so much in such a short time, 2 weeks feels like a long time when your sick but after years on opiates it's fuck all.
Feeling anxiety is to be expected and should gradually get better each day.
Sounds like you done it right and handled it well, good for you.

Thanks soso. It is easy to forget that 2 weeks is such a short period of time. Sometimes it feels like its been forever but not in such a horrible way. At the same time It doesn't feel like so long due to working crazy hours and not really having much time to think about it. I keep my days off busy and keep around friends and family and hope that its helping. :)

Your mindset is without a doubt one of the most important things at the moment and distracting yourself if you can will be a good thing.
A lot of people worry about the physical WDs and underestimate the phsycological aspect of opiate WDs, positive attitude counts for a lot.
