Quitting oxycodone using suboxone taper. - Part 23

  1. Thanks for checking in JD.

Holy shit it's day 5. I'm hoping the sub is out of my body now. Man it feels great.
So sleep was good aside from a new tradition I developed of waking up around 2:30 am and drinking a bottle of water. For some reason I wake up dehydrated in the middle of the night.

Woke up at 6 and certainly have a bit more energy. Taking my boys for their one year checkup in a couple hours. My digestive system seems better except for the nausea that's still on and off.

JD regarding suboxone. Yes there are many horror stories out there and trust me I read them before making the decision to start taking it. I also read many success stories of slow taper and jumps. I'm not a physician so I will not recommend it or speak out against it. All I can do is keep updating my experience. Remember, everyone is different and I'm sure no two experiences are exactly the same. I know it has helped me and it helps thousands of people.

There's no such thing as a symptom free withdrawal from any of this shit.

    Bring on day 5!

So glad to see your doing so well. Sorry i haven't checked in for a few days, come down with flu, but I've been reading your process and I'm so happy things are good.
