seeking opiate detox advice - Part 1

By lucyboots19 · Oct 6, 2014 · ·
  1. I was very ill earlier this year, spent 3 months in the hospital and was given oxicotin, oxycodone, dilaudid, morphine, fentanyl, lortabs..u name it. I have no need for the pain medication now and over the last few months I have tapered down to just 15mg of oxicotin within a 24 hr period. I have decided to quit completely so I took my last pill this morning and me and my son will be staying with my grandparents during this detox period. I have plenty of benadryl, soup, heating pad, and pot to get me thru this. Does anyone else have any other suggestions that could make this process a little easier? I have valium, but am trying to be as drug free as possible. Pls share what helped you get through ur detox as I am a single mother of a two year old and am trying very hard to get my life back together since this illness really took me by surprise and took me for a heck of a ride.thank u I look foward to hearing about any advice possible. Withdrawals suck!
