Hey all, well after waking up feeling like a 90 year old I perked right up and decided to take a wonder into town and do some shopping. First stop was the tattoo place and got some a small sparkly stud in each side of my nose and a small bar through my eyebrow. Looks pretty cool and I look tough enough anyway to pull of the little diamond studs lol, not real diamonds of course.

Got some new clothes so I feel like I can go out and se my old non-druggy freinds again when i feel up to it.

Totally knackered now so sorry if I don't post in any of your threads tonight. I'm sitting back with a film and a sketch pad, feeling creative again which I havent done for so long.

Supermono, yup defo going for a vapor thingy, just got to find a really strong one as I roll my own cigs with no filter so much stronger than any prerolled ones.

JD honey so sorry your struggling. I know how hard it is when you have kids to look after but you don't have the motorvation or energy, makes me feel awful when I get that around my daughter as I love her so much. Your only human honey and doing well even if it dont feel like it.

Lostly, Yes the interpol are a very real thing and me and supermono will be blacklisted by them and barred from many countries for the rest of our lives. Aus and the states are two that I'm banned from and gutted about as always wanted to go. Did visit the US once but only for a day when I was in Canada and didn't see fuck all really, just remember that canada was cheaper and they didnt fill your intire glass with ice before putting the coke in.

Hi, Bumble, hope its going well amigo ? I,ve had and am having similar experiences. I have had a lot of anger come out today and yesterday. I just remember all the people who fucked me over. It makes me so angry and I reckon that this is the cause of my anxiety. So just keeping occupied with stacks of banging house tunes. All that I had forgotten. Just getting around to Jon digweed , sasha, rodger sanchez etc. Just watched train spotting, what a classic and so funny at times, Something a little lighter before I attempt to sleep later on would be best. i think all the tears have gone now.
Thinking of you my friend. keep strong. One day at a time. Peace Mono

    Mono and Bumble,

Anger, short fuse, frequent tears, poor sleep, fatigue, labile emotions are all classic signs of generalized anxiety disorder (GAD) and major depression. Many people have both disorders and they are treated first line with SSRIs. Yes, it could just be detox but I would like you both to reflect if you have had any of these symptoms before when you were sober or using. MANY people use drugs to self treat GAD and depression. It is the underlying reason for our use. Yes, I was struggling with my marriage but it was the resulting anxiety and depression from the struggle that resulted in my overuse of opiates.

If you think this could also be you, please consider treating the underlying psych disorder. Once treated, you will be much more likely to stay clean and not relapse. I try not to give too much unsolicited health care advice but this is so very true and I see it a lot. Realizing that this was affecting me personally made me start to think about all the symptoms my friends here are having. Just food for thought.
