Utopia...the place of healing - Part 25

  1. Thanks soozi...what a beautiful message.

I spoke to my sister today. When she said she didn't have room for me to stay it was a fib instead of just saying not this weekend. I told her I felt I couldn't come spend time with my daughter. Everything is clarified now. I think i will go down next weekend. It's the only about 6 weeks until school holidays. My daughter will come up then.

I went and visited my puppy today...nothing like a puppy hug to make me happy. He's so cute. He fits in my hand. 3 more weeks and he moves in. Can't wait. I'm looking forward to having a dog to train and spoil.

Thanks for all the support guys. It really does make all the difference.

Thank you for sharing your fantastic story with us! It is a beautiful journey that you are on. I really respect the fact that you are allowing your daughter to stay with your sister during your recovery! I know how hard it can be-its a very self sacrificing action to do something because it is in the best interest of another. Try to thank your sister, you are lucky to have had a family member willing to care for your daughter, although I can understand how a mother's instinct will make you feel like your sister is taking something from you. YOU will always be her mother and you made difficult choices FOR her. Bravo on the hard uphill battle you are fighting!!
