Molecular structure for 5-(2-aminopropyl)indole (5-IT). IUPAC name: 1-(1H-indol-5-yl)propan-2-amine This is a structural isomer of alpha-methyltryptamine (aMT), with the aminopropyl sidechain at 5' ring position on indole rather than the 2' position as is the case for classic tryptamines. It is referred to by Shulgin in TIHKAL's entry on aMT as a long-lasting and potent stimulant.
