1. Dear Drugs-Forum readers: We are a small non-profit that runs one of the most read drug information & addiction help websites in the world. We serve over 4 million readers per month, and have costs like all popular websites: servers, hosting, licenses and software. To protect our independence we do not run ads. We take no government funds. We run on donations which average $25. If everyone reading this would donate $5 then this fund raiser would be done in an hour. If Drugs-Forum is useful to you, take one minute to keep it online another year by donating whatever you can today. Donations are currently not sufficient to pay our bills and keep the site up. Your help is most welcome. Thank you.

Usually Involves a One Week Detox then a 4 week Assessment both located at bridge house in Highgate (opposite Members Equity Stadium)
From there it's a 13 week program but clients can apply to stay on for an extended program. One guy was there for six years! It is essentially a free rehab where board is payed from your newstart allowance.

ALOT of trust and freedom is given at this rehab and it is a very open minded rehab giving you alot of information about all sorts of recovery methods, there is the idea of god obviously amongst the salvation army but this is not forced on you. It is only asked you respect there religion.

I did 5 months through this program and it definitely turned my life around. never thought getting clean could be so fun!

So many recreational activities there including a golf course! Cant go by this one for recovery.

Harry Hunter Rehabilitation Centre in Western Australia opened in 1961 and each year provides almost 200 people with an opportunity to find freedom from addiction to a wide range of substances.

During their stay, clients complete positive lifestyleclasses, receive counselling, partake in work therapy through gardening and farming, and are regularly involved in social activities.

As clients complete the program, a comprehensive aftercare service helps them rejoin the community and reconnect with positive influences.

A four-year redevelopment project in partnership with Dale Alcock Homes finished this year with the creation of a new three-unit women’s wing as well as ensuite bedrooms, common areas, tea rooms and consultation offices to support the recovery process for residents.
