This rehab is based on Indigenous beliefs and value system, and they offer a smudge ceremony once a day. They have group therapy, one on one counselling, and all kinds of rec activities planned like yoga or basketball games. They even take people out for camping and fishing trips if they're doing the 90 day program instead of the 42 days. What I liked most about Poundmakers is that the dorms have 2 people in each room, and people gather in the smoke pit to chat and joke around. The sense of community and support makes this one of the best rehabs in the area to go to. There's also NA and AA meetings housed here weekly.
