    • + Secure the smell!!
    Cons
    • - Plastic!!
Good product and have two of these in different sizes. One big and one small one for travelling. These vac contained are really good for secure the cannabis strong odour and curing too (Glass is better than plastic for curing)

Con:- When THC resin get build up inside the container it will get sticky and vac function will become unworkable so maintenance cleaning inside the container with pure alcohol wipe may make it last longer!

    • + Price
    Cons
    • - Cheaply made
    • - Easily opened
    • - Not airtight, or there is a high # of faulty units
My roommate owns one...Nd about every second stoner I've met. They are cheap, which when it comes to marijuana paraphernalia, cheap = not good. You got to spring the extra few bucks if you want something that will work & will last.

The seal around is not air tight, I can pull it apart with my bare hands. It could use a rubber o-ring. That'd probably solve that problem. The seal also has a tendency to get covered with THC crystals, as plastic usually does, which further more messes up the seal.

I'm sorry, but I just don't like this product.

For about a year my pet lobster used a TightVac jar. Had about a 1Oz capacity depending on density, and as stated, it sealed much better over time. After the first month or so, my lobster never again had to worry about me finding his stash. Kept it nice and fresh too from what he told me. He liked it so much he bought another just so he could separate things a bit better or have more to last him longer. He rates this product as excellent, has recommended it to anyone who asks what works.

Ive had one for several years now, they are pretty good.
I like the solid colour in your photo, mine is clear.

Ive found that when sealed, if you push the button in with your finger and then you put your mouth over it, you can suck the small amount of remaining air out with ease. This creates a very tight grip that stops any slight movement of the lid.

Im not sure what volume mine is, but it holds a lot of stuff :)

Preserving the freshness, flavour, and smell of my herbs

    • + when closed and sealed there is still no discernible odour

This is a storage container called a TightVac. As the lid or cap is pushed down, air is displaced through a button valve in the cap, creating a firm vacuum seal. Operation is simple, push the cap down and press the button to close, pull up the cap and press the button to open. With new units the cap seems a little loose, but still maintains a good seal. According to the manufacturer, the cap becomes tighter fitting with repeated use, and has double the lifespan of earlier models. Tightvac claim their product will last five years and longer if well maintained. Since the smooth seal and close fit are critical to the TightVacs operation, care should be taken to keep the interior and top of the container clean.

The model featured here has a 1.3 litre capacity, is around 200mm tall, with a diameter of around 23mm. I was looking for something large enough to hold a couple of portable vapes, with space left over for my chosen herbs. I also wanted to prevent or reduce any odours coming from vapourisers and some substances. Preserving the freshness, flavour, and smell of my herbs was another priority.

    picture.jpg

There's ample room for both vapes and a nice big bag of something or other. The container looks unremarkable, and there was no smell discernible (to my human nose at least) despite some quite pungent contents. TightVac say that the contents can 'breathe' via the button valve, this may help reduce the risk of mould or damp damaging contents. These containers come in a range of sizes, from 0.6 to 2.35 litres.

I've been using Tightvacs of various capacities for about three months now. The seal seems to be improving with use, as the manufacturer said it would. I have stored some of my favourite herbs for around two months in the same container. Despite being opened several times a day, the contents remain as fresh and pungent as the day they were stored. The smell produced when the seal is released is wonderful, but when closed and sealed there is still no discernible odour.
