I cannot speak highly enough of this book. Mark starts off his story as a very young boy in a life filled with violence and chaos. He tried alcohol and drugs at an incredibly young age and found that with them he could escape his torturous reality but never for long enough. Thus started a long, thrilling, terrifying, exciting and at times horrifying relationship with drugs. He writes so beautifully that you are there with him every step of the way. At times I found myself yelling at the book like people yell at movies when they can’t believe what the person is doing - that’s how involved I became. He doesn’t glamourise any part of it. It is not a pretty story but it’s fantastic and real. Read it!!
Dear Drugs-Forum readers: We are a small non-profit that runs one of the most read drug information & addiction help websites in the world. We serve over 4 million readers per month, and have costs like all popular websites: servers, hosting, licenses and software. To protect our independence we do not run ads. We take no government funds. We run on donations which average $25. If everyone reading this would donate $5 then this fund raiser would be done in an hour. If Drugs-Forum is useful to you, take one minute to keep it online another year by donating whatever you can today. Donations are currently not sufficient to pay our bills and keep the site up. Your help is most welcome. Thank you.
