My foaf received his packet from work today, and it reviewed the random drug testing policy. His question is this. The eleven panel test that will be done randomly includes the following: Alcohol, Amphetamines, Barbiturates, Benzodiazapines, Cannabinoids, Cocaine, Methadone, Methaqualone, Opiates, PCP, and Propoxyphene. Sorry for any misspelled words here. Ten employees will be chosen at random, guessing this is done by computer. So foaf wanted to know if hydrocodone is even being tested for? His script is legit of course and he has done well and will continue to use them only as perscribed. He is just wondering any feedback.

His initial drug screen was done through Qwest diagnostics, and the random screens are going to be done "in house". He was negative for anything and was taking his meds as perscribed. Hydrocodone 7.5/500 mg 4 times a day. Seems it would have shown something the first time and foaf did inform them he was having dental work done. The tester showed no concern and said if their was a problem he would be contacted. He came back negative for everything.

Anyone have any feedback or situations to share? Foaf thanks everyone for their support and honesty.

Foaf does understand that no one here will have the exact answers, he just knows there are a lot of expert opinions on this site and really does appreciate any help that is offered. Seems to me he would have nothing to worry about anyway, however, the screen seems odd, and when nothing was found the first time around it led my foaf to be unsure of the possibilites.

He uses nothing illegal, only his legal script at this time. Thanks again for the help any advice for him is appreciated!

I'm surprised to hear that the first drug screen came back negative. I am almost 100% sure that Hydrocodone would come up as an opiate on a drug test! Some more sensitive tests can even differentiate between opiates, so Hydrocodone would show up as just that.

Either way, your friend has an Rx for the Hydrocodone and is using them properly. He has nothing to worry about.

Foaf is wondering if due to the cutoff being 2000 ng/ml if this had anything to do with his prior results? Seems like a high amount but he doesnt understand how all of that works compared to what he normally takes? Any insight on that? Thanks again for the reply

FOAF is still concerned, he has been searching for answers on DF, wonders anyones opinion, if Qwest Diagnostics is the lab, any opinions to just using something synthetic? He has done some research and seems unclear as to weather or not it would be safe to use. No one will be watching, seems they do check for any additives but cant tell if IgG is checked for or not. He greatly appreciates everyone's help and feedback. He understands this question may have been addressed before, he has been using the search engine to try to find the answers, but thought he would shoot the topic out there and see on feedback.

He really wants to keep his private life private. Its tough because even though he has his script, he wants to keep his personal issues personal, as most of us do on the forum. Thanks again for all the support from DF.

Foaf decided to pick up a synthetic, one with uric acid. Says he isnt sure if he will use it but feels better having it somehow. He is thinking of just weaning down and trying to get off the hydro. Too much stress in his life, worries how he will manage the daily pain. One day at a time he says. He is going to come up with a solution so that he can enjoy his career and sleep at night. Its hard to live with pain but people judge so much. RA only gets worse, not better and honestly, steroids scare him to death. He will let everyone know how things turn up. He only has randoms to worry about but they are worrying him like mad. He is gonna research and see what he can to do calm his mind and his pain. Thanks for listening he says.

I was told that there is a new urine screen that can tell if you have had a drink up to 21 days later. Is this true?
