Swim recently came across 3-(2-Aminoethyl)indole. Otherwise known as just straight Tryptamine; I am aware what it is, and what its used for. Just curious if anyone has ever experimented with it.

Tryptamine has no psychedelic properties in and of itself. Many a hopeful 14 year old budding chemistry enthusiast has tried - to no avail. Heating it will cause decomposition with a characteristic indole aroma - yech!
