I was just curious about how common/bad is the nausea associated with some research chemicals, specifically 5-meo-amt and 2c-i, and if there were any ways to minimize it, i know ive not eaten the day of a mushroom trip, would this help with research chemicals?

Nausea seems to be more prevailant with 5-Meo-AMT than with 2C-I. Everyone's body chemistry is different. So one may not always have the same experience as another. For instance, SWIM luckily doesn't get nausea on either of these. From observation of others. The nausea from 5-Meo-AMT seems to be alot stronger and longer lasting then with 2C-I. Once again, people's experiences differ. So one can't say exactly what you might experience, but you can take an educated guess from seeing/reading about others experiences and ratios of nausea to non-nausea experiences with the two chems mentioned. Fasting the day of taking one of these, just as with any other psychedelic, definitely helps with reducing nausea throughout the experience.

2ci has very little nausea associated with it. it might hit you for a half hour at the begining of an 8 hour tripbutthen pass. some othe 2c(like 2ce) have even less of a body load.

5meo amt has a stronger bodyload, with more nausea generally involved. but fasting helps.

I've read that rectal admin of 5-methoxy AMT reduces nausea (makes sense, since I think most of the nausea is due to gut 5HT3 receptors), but I can't verify that, as I'm not having anything more to do with the vile stuff. It may be psychedelic but with me, vomiting and the squirts are just too much (or as I called it in another post - opening the sluice gates at each end). Just plain nasty!

2ci never gave me nausea untill i started abusing it. Than i would
vomit almost every time. Keep your usage down to 2 times a month at
most and i think you'll be fine.

Take some anti-emetics (i.e. travel sickness pills) like Dramamine, Sturgeron etc. Two pills ought to do the trick

The best ones would be the 5HT3 antagonists like ondansetron, but they're only available on prescription

Well i was using 2ci every week. Sometimes up to 3 times a week.

Now i tend to use psychedelics about once a month.

Im not sure if you will get the nausea if you use different 2c's. The
only 2c's ive tried are 2ci (which like i said, i abused), 2ct2 (about
    4 or 5 times) and 2ce (once).

I've only heard scattered reports of people getting nauseous on 2C-I
and I truly can't imagine it. SWIM gave the compound to 20+ people,
most of whom had never tripped before. No one felt anything close to
    nausea.

5-MeO-AMT could go other way, however, and is definitely something to test with your body chemistry before going for a big dose.

Really? Does anyone else find this? 2C-E less bodyload than 2C-I?

    I have experienced the oppisate.

it has been mentioned that 5-meo-AMT has a large bodyload but i haven't
noticed anyones comments on 2CT-2 or 2CT-7 does anyone have some insite
    here?

I am interested in all 3 of these

    Thanks

dramamine 30 minutes before the experience should help. Like
hyperreal said, 2 should be good, maybe take one more right before
taking the chem if you are sensitive. Take it with a bowl of weed
and you will be really good to go.Good luck bro.

QGdoxl, 2ct2 didnt cause too much body load for me. At doses above 25mg though you will experience nausea and probably vomiting.

2ct7 is reported to have an uncomfortable body high aswell but i have spoken to a couple people who didnt experience any.

So it realy all depends on your body and how it reacts to the particualr chemical.

2c's are very erratic in their effects and most experience very different things from the,.

be safe and start low when you experiement.

    peace

5meoamt causes quite awful nausea and occasionally diahrea to go with it. smoking it seems to null this effect in some people, but not all. one might also consider a low dose of antiemetic before dosing on the 5meoAMT.

5ht3 and 5ht4 receptors are the ones mainly located in the stomach afaik.

5ht1 can be found in the brain, so a 5ht1 antagonist wont help against nausea.
