Just starting this thread because I noticed there wasn't any entries on this site regarding this chemical. It appears to be rather close to a-PVP/a-PPP; it sounds like a "bath salts" type drug to me. Anyone have
any relevant information about it? (Experiences should go in a separate thread, if I recall the forum rules correctly.)

    Re: A-PBP (alpha-Pyrrolidinobutiophenone)

Just a minor follow-up; a few posts on other boards suggest that this is similar to a-PVP, but requires about 2-3x more mg in terms of effective dosage. Not much else has been reported since, even though it's been out there for a little while now. Hmmm.

    Adding standard "drug info" template.

Can anyone add information about a-pbp?

    names / synonyms
    molecule
    dose
    duration
    side effects
have there been any reported incidents with this compound?
since when has this research chemical been available?
    legal status
stability of the molecule / compound

A thread for experiences with a-pbp will be created if and when it is necessary.

    Common Name: a-PBP
    Synonyms: alpha-Pyrrolidinobutiophenone, α-Pyrrolidinobutiophenone
    IUPAC Name: (RS)-1-phenyl-2-(1-pyrrolidinyl)-1-butanone
    Molecular Formula: C14H19NO
    Molecular Mass: 217.306 g/mol

α-Pyrrolidinobutiophenone (α-PBP) is a stimulant compound developed in 1964 (patented in 1967 by Ernst Seeger for the German company Boehringer Ingelheim) which has been reported as a novel designer drug. It can be thought of as the homologue lying between the two better known drugs α-PPP and α-PVP.

    Re: α-Pyrrolidinobutiophenone (APBP)

No ime it goes a-pvp>a-pbp>mdpv. The euphoria from mdpv IME would go away quite fast. where as pvp and pbp it stays for a long time. No tolerance to the euphoriant effects are noticed right away with pvp and pbp. With mdpv it would only take a few hrs for tolerance to end the euporia. Thats my body though.
