There is no such thing as "acid based" ecstasy. This description usually means that the pills contain something other than MDMA. A testing kit would help to determine what a pill contains.

I pity anyone who would try something so utterly bullshit as "acid-based XTC." That would like someone selling someone some pot claiming it's not marijuana - it's some other plant, dude!

I wonder what kind of acid this person was refering to: Lysergic? Sulfuric? Picric (BOOM!!!)?

I would be advised to find a seller that accurately represents their products - without resorting to some vague, unknown buzzword that could have several different meanings - including "So long, sucker!"

Knowing what one is putting into their body is always a good idea. Especially in the event of something going very wrong somewhere down the way that winds SWIM up in a hospital.

Oftentimes MDA is represented as "trippy ecstasy," "LSD-based," etc.

SWIJ has heard 2-CI being described as "tripstacy" and "trippy ecstacy"

This is exactly the problem with calling something by some street-name like "acid-based xtc" - it invites speculation. But when it comes to taking a foreign substance into one's body and brain - this is not something you should speculate about. Unless there is a definitive qualitative chemical analysis of this article, this is nothing but mental masturbation.
