SWIM was curious to this.. SWIM knows amphetamines constrict blood vessels as well as in increase BP. SWIM knows of an amino acid called
L-arginine. basically it's a prescurser to nitric oxide, and helps open up the blood vessels, thereby getting more oxygen to the heart and brain.. plus, possibly lower BP..

SWIM has taken this with adderall, and hasn't noticed any heart pounding or head throbing. argnine is all natural too.. it's actually found in some foods.

SWIM has been wondering about this too. For him, gabapentin seems to have some vasodialation properties, however, when his BP lowers, his heart rate increases. Swim does not get this effect from gabapentin on its' own. SWIM was wondering if l-Arginine causes heart rate increase due to lower BP (a parasympathetic CNS response)?
