So, I cannot seem to locate peppermint oil or leaves at any nearby stores, and he's looking to make a cold-water extraction and synthesize the extracted LSA into LSH. Are there any other alternatives to peppermint he could use that would effectively synthesize LSH? What is the active chemical in peppermint that causes LSA to convert into LSH?

    Thanks for helping.

Apparently it is the acetaldehydes in the peppermint that does the conversion. It can also be found in sherry wine.

But, really, most grocery stores have pure peppermint leaf tea. it's hard to believe you can't find it in the tea section.

this is what I use. after brewing a cup of tea, SWIM lets it cool to a milder temperature, then adds his LSA extract. SWIM stirs until it is dissolved, then shoves it in the freezer for 10 minutes. This has worked every time for SWIM.

I thought up an alternative LSH making procedure. First, make peppermint tea. Cool the tea and put the ground seeds in it. Soak the seeds for a day or so. Filter and keep liquid.

Basically a CWE but instead of water one uses the peppermint tea water.

I amn't sure if this works, he thought it up after reading up on LSH procedures.
