Looking to purchase some plants, to you know, decorate my house with.

I know Tar-gut sells/sold mescaline or peyote cacti, but I think that
was rare. Are there any plants with benefits that I can go out and buy?

I like various normal cacti, I also like avocado trees...but for plants
that will give you something more you could try a san pedro, a kanna
plant, maybe some poppies. Your better off growing the plant yourself
cause that way you can probably get a nicer plant and some plants just
not popular enough to be found at Target. Get some seeds instead. But
look into an avocado tree they are really nice and avocados are
    delicious and healthy.

Or maybe look into growing a meth bush, they are a hard find but worth
it, but go to a Franks nursery and ask for one..."do you guys sell
    methamphetamine bushes?"

You will never find a Peyote cactus (Lophophora williamsii) in
any department store, the plant itself and all its parts, including
seeds, are a schedule-I controlled substance in the USA.

Possible plants that could be found include Hawaiian baby
woodrose seeds, San Pedro or Peruvian Torch or other psychoactive
Trichocereus cacti, Euphorbia species such as Khanna, morning glory
seeds, datura seeds, and opium poppy seeds (the seeds of Papaver
somniferum are not psychoactive, but even the ones in the spice bottles
can be planted, and then the seedpods can either be sliced into to
harvest the opium, or dried and made into a narcotic tea).

That's about all that come to mind. Remember that some
seed companies put emetic poisons on their HBR and morning glory seeds
to discourage people from ingesting them, so be careful. The best
way is always to grow your own.

if your friend does grow poppies it would be more efficient and safe to justscore the damned things when the leaves turn yellow toward the center, wait 12 hours and scrape the latex....dont make tea.....primarily because if thelatex is still in the pod the normal ratio for pod/water would be thrown off by the higher alkaloid content of the latex and could be dangerous.

Do you think your everyday american P.Officer would know what an opium
poppy looked like compared to any other poppy? Are there choppers or
planes that look for it like Marijuana? Just wondering why the Opium
poppy isn't more of a homegrown plant.

Not really, occasionally you see some blurb about a blue haired old
lady getting her flower patch shes been growing for upteen years
chopped down by the DEA cuz some busybody wanted to bust an obvious
    criminal organization. [IMG]

Its probably not a good idea to leave scored pods outside! Just cut the
whole thing off and feign ignorance if anything happens, the pods? oh i
cut them and used them in flower arrangements.
