Sounds scientific instead of erotic but SWIM would welcome any advice here. Smoking spice over the last couple of years, SWIM noticed that vasodilation 'in the right place' was fantastic, even more so than usual weed/anything else.

SWIM would like to know if anyone is aware of any substances that have a similar extent.SWIM has tried a few, from Viagra to Yohimbe and Tongkat Ali but none of them had nearly the same effect. They were all legitimate and pure sources (SWIM checked the brands/reviews first)

SWIM remembers that cocaine didn't really have the same effect - but SWIM hasn't had that for years.

So if anyone has any good advice, SWIM would definitely like to hear it. Again - if possible, legal stuff would be preferred, but SWIM leaves it to the discretion of those giving advice.

    Thanks

    avanafil
    lodenafil
    mirodenafil
    sildenafil citrate
    tadalafil
    vardenafil
    udenafil

Those are pharmaceutical Phosphodiesterase 5 inhibitors (vasodilators).

If you don't want to get a script you can try icariin, a derivative of the horny goat weed plant which has been shown to act as a PDE5 inhibitor as well as creating an increase in Nitric Oxide production.

An erection is basically a result of Nitric oxide production which diffuses into the blood stream, triggers the production of a second messenger (cGMP), which causes vasodilation. Drugs like viagra (pde5 inhibitors) inhibit the breakdown of cGMP.

thanks very much for the response that is great. SWIM understands that this could be an 'obvious' question - all the info on 'those little blue pills' right ? But where SWIM was coming from was how the relaxing effects of spice had a far stronger erectile effect than viagra/cialis.
So SWIM asked me to ask if people know of something out there that provides the same 'relaxation' effect.

I think he's talking about a brand of herbal cannabis replacement called "spice".

I didn't think you could get the good stuff anymore...or maybe thats just in Australia :(

Well one has to be Yohimbe.

    Also,

l-arginine... Bodybuilders use this for vasodiolation among other reasons.

Anyway if SWIY is looking for vasodiolation he certainly has a lot of different stuff he could try.

It's also in SWIM's opinion mindset overrides any influence a vasodiolator may have. If one is completely void of anxiety or just "feels good" its more likely he will be able to get more "pumped" ;)

l-arginine is used in the eNOS system to produce Nitric Oxide (NO).

There are a wide variety of vasodilators and they all vary depending on where they are acting. Epinephrine (Adrenaline) for example causes vasodilation of the arterioles surrounding the lungs, muscle tissue, etc during a fight or flight response, while simultaneously causing constriction on those surrounding digestive organs. Location and type of receptor is just as important as the type of vasodialator being used.

I think yohimbe works on the Nitric Oxide system, but through increased parasympathetic stimulation, which leads to more NO being produced by the eNOS system, resulting in more cGMP being released in the smooth muscle than the PDE5 enzymes can break down.

The only vasodilator SWIM has taken is Clonidine. SWIM doesn't believe this is much like what SWIY is inquiring about, as Clonidine is a Alpha Andrenergic Agonist and doesnt have any sort of 5-HT affinity. What's the difference in the effects of drugs with 5-HT (Yohimbine) affinity (Yohimbine) and not just a1/a2 affinity? SWIM found Clonidine to be almost crippling. Walking was almost impossible for a day and SWIM'S body seemed to be made of lead.

Not trying to reopen/bump an older thread, but I figured that since this already was posted, it would be redundant to open a new, similar thread.

Can anybody hypothetically advice my kitty as to which PDE5 inhibitor is best out of Viagra [ Sildenafil Citrate], Cialis [Tadalafil Citrate] and Levitra [Vardenafil]? Advantages of each? Disadvantages? Which would your kitty choose over another and why?

    Thank you.
