My friend recently got some buprenorphine for maintainance in the UK the ma holder is sun pharmaceutical industries Europe. I was wondering if these are generic subutex or suboxone I've tried finding the information online for his benefit but I just cannot find it does anybody know if these are bupe+naloxone or just bupe. These come from the north-east of England where he is based any information would be valuable for his benefit.

Yikes, I did a google search and both subutex and suboxone came up. Plus a couple others probably not prescribed here in the U.S. I'm not familiar with. When you take your script to the chemist, maybe ask for the generic, if you're allowed to do that. Another thing with subs is less is better.

Number 8 on one side blank on the other. Thanks. David, I think the image is a bit blurred here is the only difference it does not have an arrow instead of the arrow just a blank side I'm just using this as an example. [IMG]

Jeffy recognizes those evil fuckers.....!!!! Those are "High Tech" or some such named pharm company's generic.... they exist the same as 2 mg pills with obvious number changes.

They are the absolute worst generic subutex in existence.... They rank 4th behind Name Brand, Teva, and even crappy Rox.... they have about a third the bupe as named brand or Teva and I have no idea how they get away with it.

Ahhhh nm.... I believe you indeed have Roxanne or whomever's version.... they are second worst but not as bad and as the evil and vile criminal pill maker that makes the one in your pic.

Also there is a critical difference you can tell so that you know you have crappy subutex vs criminally badly made subutex ---- Rox pills lie flat- the ones you are posting are slightly oblate and will not lie flat. (the pic makes this critical factor hard to see)

If you have a subutex pill and it is round you are being screwed..(should be football shaped or you are being raped).. If you lie the pill on a counter and find that the pill is not lying flat flat you are being criminally sold subutex 1/3 said strength.

Finally Jeffy knows way way way too much about subutex

A quick search on my handy dandy pill identifier provided me with the following information:

    Drug: Buprenorphine Hydrochloride (Sublingual)
    Strength: 8 mg
    Manufacturer: Ethypharm S.A.

However, I couldn't find any pills that had an 8 on one side and no arrow on the other. If they are legitimate pills, then they should have both the 8, on one side, and an arrow facing downwards, on the other side.

    Be safe.

Ah, well my apologies then. The pill identifier that I used must not account for pill imprints outside of the United States.

Ye i think the system is very different in the uk for instance when I here people talk about mirtazapine from the states here they call it rameron but here I have never had a batch with rameron of my doctor just mirtazapine must be made by completely different Pc'ys.

in uk 95% of subutex scripts was changed around 2010 to suboxone because they clicked subutex was more abuseable than methadone mixture. from what ive heard there are now a new film coated round generic subutex tablets that have been designed to deter injecting. they do not dissolve like the old original oval shapped ones in water and from what ive been told was introduced due to people hateing the naloxone in suboxone and not getting on with it. less of the active ingrediants may be absorbed into ur system with these new ones because they are chalky and work less effectivly than the old tablets and also the residue needs to be retained in your mouth for longer. do not attempt to inject these new pills if you value the use of your arms and legs.

I know I'm bumping a thread that's a couple months old but because of my inexperience with this sight this is the best place I could think to add my. 2 cents in about something. My friendly lil kitty cat went on a hunt today for her usuall suboxone fix and got one of the new generic suboxone pills marked d 155. Now my kitty whiskers KNOWS that to IV ANY pill is EXTREMELY dangerous and should be AVOIDED AT ALL COSTS but her being curious and believing she has 9 LIVES will probably try it anyways. Has anyone had any experience with this particular ROA of this new pill or just any experiences with it any which way from pooper to nose? Maybe a mod would be so kind as to move this questioon to its proper place. I apologize for the inconvienence but I know this is about to become a pretty major discussion topic in the DF community.. Happy Meows Friends...

    I_MISS_160s -

This is not the right thread to ask a question like that but you are looking for advice on doing something so I will direct you a thread that might help you - http://www.drugs-forum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=98944&highlight=Injecting+suboxone

I have never personally Injected Suboxone or Subutex but I have researched this topic.

My advise would be as follows - Never Inject Suboxone especially if you are not an Opiate Naive person.

I hope this helps you and be safe.

Ahhh and to answer the original question.. Yeah they are mini subutex (Bupenorphine Hcl) pills. In my opinion they should not exist. I believe this becasue in the case that some kids find these and take them it could prove fatal. The pills resemble exactly in shape and size the 5mg OxyCodone HCL pills here in the US. If these kids or just opiate nieve people in general pop 5 of them thinking "well I need 5 Oxy 5's to get off" then why not 5 of these. Bupe being such an EXTREMELY POWERFULL drug this could be just disaterous all around. This is the same reason the OxyContin 160's (that I miss) were taken off the market in the US. VERY POWERFUL pill mae way to small... JJ
These particular Bupe pills are hard to devide into smaller doses as well due to their size. I know MANY MANY people who devide their Sub pills up to maintain on a lower than 8mg dose( usually trying for about 1-2mg per wack)

    I miss -

I agree, it is virtually impossible to dose these small pills correctly especially when you are taking them illicitly and are trying to maintain yourself on a specific dose.

DCEE-- Thank you for directing me to the proper place for my question. I will post it there. I have been a member for over a year but am fairly new to posting. I'm still working out the bugs to my forum navigation skills...

The help is MUCH appreciated... JJ
