Has any one ever tried Cognitive behavioural therapy when trying to quit Amphetamine addiction ? I have read about this therapy and also have the Mind Over Mood Book by Dennis Greenberger and Christine A Padesky but would like some feedback from any one if they found it useful .
    Thanks

am currently involved with CBT, to address issues that likely influenced my addiction to methamphetamine.
It seems somewhat successful, but takes some very conscious effort, can't really say 'oh fuck it I don't feel like practicing any mindfulness techniques today'.
speaking of, the more literature on mindfulness you can absorb, the better.

Personally, I give it a thumbs up, but I am still very new to it, and will see how it goes.
