Skippy the Bush Kangaroo emailed me this -
As I don't do drugs I thought I'd ask other people to help with these questions in an entirely non-incriminating manner

MDMA is highly soluble in water, but I think you are over thinking this a bit.. your stomach is a vile place with lots of acid waiting to consume whatever you put in it.. Dissolving your MDMA in water or taking a pill with water.. or drinking water and parachuting a pill.. idk man, it's all going to end up in the same place in very little variance of conditions. Just open your mouth and close your eyes, your about to get a big.. just take the ish and have fun ;-)

First bullet. Wrong there's no way SWIM could think of in which it would lessen the effects. In fact a water solution would decrease onset time(a little). Maybe if a solution was made and simply left out for a decent length of time then it might degrade somewhat but this doesn't seem to be what you're doing.

Second. If crystals are on the bottom then stir or add more water. SWIM would also suggest measuring out the desired amounts and adding them to separate bottles for each individual person so someone doesn't get to much. Unless SWIY is doing volumetric dosing.

Third. No crystals won't harm your stomach. Maybe if you swallowed a large, sharp crystal then SWIY might suffer from a cut in the esophagus but it's not likely.

Overall, SWIM suggests whatever floats your boat. It really doesn't matter. Eating it through water solution, parachute, capsule, or crystal, it's really all the same. Like SWIM said onset time might be shortened a little but effects will be the same.

Is there any mechanism through which MDMA stored in water might degrade?
A solution is far more inconspicuous, and easier to measure a dose from when a known quantity is dissolved, particularly if the user in question does not own any scales.

The only way SWIM can think of would be if you heated the water (above 60 degrees Celsius) or some other such method. So long as you don't leave the bottle on a heat source, the MDMA would not degrade very fast. Though if you're concerned, don't mix it until you need it, or put it in the fridge.

As SWIJawah mentioned volumetric dosing, SWIM's hamster would like to mention a few words.

MDMA is a very stable chemical compound. Storing in the fridge in solution would probably be the best course of action once in solution, just to ensure a stable temperature.

Second, as SWISynthesised mentioned not having any scales. The hamster knows that if something, like say sugar or salt, is in solution, it should be equally distributed and suspended in the solution. Especially if one always follows "shake well before serving" rules.

So, imagine if a normal hamster had 500g of sugar and no scales, he would mix it in 1 litre of water, the hamster would be assured of .5g of sugar being suspended in every 1ml of the water solution. This is an easy method of dosage calculation.

So, Mr. Hamster says go forth and mix your hamster treats in your sports drink, fruit juice and remember the proportions. If there is more than he would like to use in one session he would simply use the volume of liquid with his treats in suspension to the correct ratio. Then he could save the rest for another time in the refrigerator.

However, a word of caution, if one were to put something into a liquid suspension and store it in the refrigerator, MAKE SURE IT IS OUT OF REACH of anyone unsuspecting, or children. This could have very nasty or unexpected consequences. Be EXTREMELY careful if any hamsters intend to do this. The headlines on the newspapers could be very ugly.

Be safe, be careful, and have fun.

^^ to add to the cautions from Wanderer- if storing in liquid suspension in the fridge it is advisable to use a well labeled container that is unlikely to be mistaken for a drink, sauce, dressing etc. Adding food coloring is also advised - blue used to be the preferred choice though in this day and age it is admittedly harder to find a color that has not been made common by some drink product..

The Mr Yuk stickers are great for such storage
