Question - Does anybody know if Pizza Hut drug tests?

    SWIM has a job interview there on friday for a delivery driver and he is nervous about a possible drug test. Swim would only fail for weed, but is still concerned.

    anybody whos worked there or does work there know if they drug test?



    also, does anybody know the effectiveness of STRIP brand detox drinks?

    Swim used to have a friend that worked at pizza hut, they definately didn't drug test him.
    Usually drug testing is site based, meaning a company may drug test in one location and not the other site.
    Usually when this is the case, you will still have to fill out a form agreeing to a drug test. It's just they would never get around to conducting the test.
    If SWIDR live's in a small town, most likely they do not drug test. Delivery driver's usually don't have to meet many requirement's.
    Most likely SWIDR will be hired for the job and told a date to come in with no hassle.
    Don't be afraid to go to the interview anyway, give it a shot.

    Alot of time's when people are thinking about something they make it alot worse than it actually is in there head, and then when they get there it's not that bad at all. Dont be afraid to go to the interview at all, the worse that could happen would be SWIDR would not get the job. In that case it appear's swidr has lost nothing and is back at the drawing bored.

    oreder a pizza and ask the delivery guy when he gets to your house.

    Swim has worked in three different restaraunts and has never been tested or heard talk of testing. The only place he has worked that tested was a kroger.
    Your situation may be different, but in swims experience, the foodservice industry doesn't really care about drugs.

    Swim's suggestion, if you have any doubts, would be to purchase a lab-produced, sterile synthetic urine product. Microwave it to appropriate temp. before leaving for the interview, just in case you have to drop then and there (better safe than sorry), then use a hand-warmer packet thing and a rubber band around it to hold it on the bottle. Stick the bottle in your sock, with the plastic against your skin, to keep at body temp, and the heater/warmer, facing away to prevent burns etc. Another option, as a female, is to stick it in your panties, again with plastic touching your skin and the warmer facing away from your body. Swim thinks that while detox drinks may work, it may be more of a chance than you are willing to take, since she's heard mixed results. Your best bet is synthetic urine. It's a bit expensive, around $25-35 a bottle, you can probably get two uses out of one bottle- separate half to bring to the initial interview, and then if you are asked to come back a second time, or to go elsewhere for a drug test, you can have the second half for back-up.

    This will not work if you are tested for certain substances ie. methadone clinics expect both methadone, and methdone metabolites, to be present. So you could just add methadone to the sample, but there's no way (IMO) to fake the actual metabolites. In addition, if your doc prescribes an amphetamine or benzo, they'll expect to see it there. But as far as getting a job- the cleaner the better. Synth urine is the perfect option for your situation. Best of luck!!

    Several of my friends have worked for Pizza Hut, as well as Dominoes, Little Ceasers, and Round-Table, none of whom have been tested for drugs. Odd, seeing as the primary cause of testing is precautionary 'under-the-influence' insurance. Essentially, a company needs to have that test so that when swiy crashes their delivery-mobile, a simple piece of paper says, "they werent high when they started working!" It removes a layer of responsibility from the overseer and places it entirely on the user. Precautionarily, Wal-Mart, and many other super-size retailers do in fact choose to test.
