B vitamins speed up metabolism effectively speeding up digestion (so I think) so...

1: If you were to take b vitamins before eating a meal you would digest food faster are be able to take DXM sooner. This would help people having to only eat a few light meals a day if they want to trip.

2: If you take b vitamin before dosing would the effects come on faster/stronger? Since youre digesting the DXM faster I would assume so, but don't actually know.

Has anyone tried this/ know if its feasible at all. Also, if b vitamins wouldnt work, is there anything else that increases digestion that would work for speeding up DXM onset/ allow you to eat before? I was thinking maybe if you worked out then took DXM after it might have some affects?

First off, why would you need DXM to hit you faster? If you need it stronger, go for grapefruit juice.

B Vitamins aren't going to do anything.

1: they don't "speed up digestion", to be honest, other then cooking and fermentation, I don't think there is any way of speeding up the break down of food in the body.

2: If they did, it would be well known. B-vitamins are taken everywhere by tons of people, especially drug users trying to "pre-load" for various reasons. Someone in the past 20 years would have noticed this effect and reported it. We aren't talking about mega-dosing some sort of exotic spice here (see info on Turmeric), but a very common supplement.

where did you get this idea from?

Personally I think a little light food in the stomach is good, helps wit nausea and honestly doesn't slow absorption down as much as people act.

It usually takes around 2 hours to hit me regardless of what's in my stomach and that's a while IMO. I read that b vitamins sped up metabolism so I was thinking maybe it could help with DXM, but that was just a guess. I'll still try it anyway at some point

Are you using Delsym? or some other DXM Polystyrix formulation?

There's no reason not to try, it's not going to hurt you.

Do not however go for stimulant based "fat burners" or other diet aids, DXM and stimulants are a potentially dangerous combination.

No, I was trying to understand why it would take two hours for DXM to kick in when most people see effects in 30-45 minutes.

I do not recommend delsym, it's just not as good, too long to kick in, too drawn out, hard to dose.

No, vitamins aren't going to interact dangerously or positively for that matter, with DXM of any type.

DXM (300mg-600mg) always takes about 2 hours to kick in for me. Even longer if taken with food.

It is the same for me. The effects during the first hour are usually limited to occasional nausea and drowsiness. Slight dissociative effects begin creeping in during the second hour, approaching a peak about 2 hours after ingestion.

That's good to hear, my friend usually gets hit within an hour but he's probably bullshitting as he does around 250mg and idt that's enough to get him tripping like he says
