I was wondering how long after use DXM could give a false positive or was detectable on a drug test? If anyone knows this that would be wonderful for SWIM.

I have heard that if at all, a false positive for opiates or PCP can appear anywhere within three days.

There's a story on Erowid (or maybe elsewhere) of a case of a PCP false positive caused by DXM. I have also read a study (forgot which one) about a chronic DXM abuser brought to a hospital. They tested her for drugs and found a PCP positive. They later came to the conclusion that this was a false positive due to DXM.

Because of its molecular similarities, DXM can possibly cause a positive for opiates, although to my knowledge there are no reports of this happening.

Don't know anything about detection times though. Better safe than sorry I'd say.

swim tested positive for pcp, but I took 40 robo gel's earlier that day. I have passed urine tests on the day after using.
