Storing - DXM Degradation, Ideal Storage

    Maybe in capsules in airtight jars?
    Other than that i would dissolve some in alcohol (WRITE ON THE BOTTLE HOW MUCH PER ML or what have you)
    Was it effective when you first got it?

    My lab monkey drank a whole bottle of Robitussin that was a month old (360 mg DXM), and it felt like it only took about 90 mg of DXM.

    Protect it from light, heat, and oxygen.

    A month isn't very old for a bottle of syrup. Heck, most of us probably
    have half-(full/empty) bottles of syrup from 10 years ago. Although
    light might be a culprit, most cough syrup bottles are opaque brown
    plastic, right? Well, except NyQuil....
