to dangerous to even think about ?
no, dont thinks its a good idea. The search engine is on the top right hand side... Education is great.. maybe u should find out why that would not be a good idea.
swims on effexor which s technically an SNRI not an SSRI but pretty much the same thing and he has had no problems robotripping.
effexor produces MUCH less seratonin
It's not a good idea. DXM acts as an SSRI as well and antidepressant SSRI's inhibit the liver enzyme which metabolizes DXM so it's a double whammy. One trying this would run a serious risk of serotonin syndrome which can possibly result in death --hopefully wouldn't happen, but it's been known to-- or other health ailments which could land the person in the hospital. Swim, whilst in the throes of a serious DXM addiction, used to combine Zoloft with DXM regularly. She didn't die or go to the hospital, but bad things did happen. She remembers once being caught on what she thought would be a low dosage of DXM while visiting her mother. She severely underestimated the effects which became conspicuous to say the *very* least and the mother threatened to take swim to the E.R., but she somehow talked her way out of it saying that it was a bunch of herbal supplements interacting with her zoloft or some nonsense.
She has also experienced mild serotonin syndrome where she has been afraid for her life (several times)...if she didn't have a fear of going to the hospital for a drug overdose then she would have gone herself. It can be extremely unpleasant. Yes, some can get away with it, but it's really not worth the risk at all.
I am on celexa 10mg and he took dxm for the first time (about half a robotussin bottle) and he noticed no negative effects at all. SWIM also did 1 line of yazzle that day and his head was numb which was entertaining. though everyone is different and it probly wasnt a good idea but I enjoyed himself.
