today SWIM decided after seeing some cough thinstrips at a grocery store while grocery shopping, to try dxm again for the first time in at least 2 months. When SWIM arrived at the pharmacy nearby his house, he was delighted to find not only Thinstrips but Robo coughgels also. When he was a regular(weekly) user I would look all over and could never find either of these, it was always the good ol' generic syrup,YUK![IMG]

SWIM picked up both and his question would be if anyone has opinions on which are better to use (or if the thinstrips have harmful inactives) since he has only ever used sucrets and syrup.

both will work fine... and u should have no probs with inactive
ingredients... the thinstrips will prolly be nasty as hell to get
down... however u decide to take them... my guess would be that they
would leave a bad taste in your mouth... since now u have access to
cough gels just use those... and expect them to take twice as long as
syrup to hit u... so 1 hour empty stomach to 1.5 to 2 hours on fuller
    stomach...

    from U.K.
maybe do a mix of these? Take some strips, and some gels. But my advice with the strips is to take them and then either brush your teeth, or put in a listerine strip thing a majig.

that would be cool but would lead to a redose trip... cause the strips
go in first.. then come the gels.. cause they take longer to digest and
    whatnot

I tried mixing them and it turned out awsome, he says the strips werent even bad at all exept running out of saliva to dissolve them by the time he was done[IMG]. overall it made for a good time back. dxm seems much more appealing now that the robogels are here and he will be trying them again in the near future.

How much DXM is in each strip? SWIM may try this, how many strips did you eat and how's the taste?

ther 15 mg per strip, the ones I got were neocitran and tasted similar to cherry candy, the taste was not bad at all, I ate 12 strips which is a whole pack and by the end they were still not repulsive in any way.

btw they are a more expensive way to do it concidering ther is just over half the dxm contained in 1 bottle of robogels.

Wow, this is the first instance of eating/drinking cough medicine that
I haven't heard described as repulsive. I will definitely keep this
in mind if powder is not available, thanks for the tip.
