I am pretty hungry because he was on an empty stomach for the kratom.

He's been using the search engine and cant really find anything on eating after someone takes kratom... or while on kratom.

1.Should he eat a full meal? or just a snack?
2.Will eating now that he took kratom , diminish its effects?

If anything I find it increses the sedative effect.
I would not eat for the day untill he has taking Kratom. I had to remind himself to eat at times. But as soon as the Kratom made itself known I would tuck in to the food.

SWIM's appetite is virtually unaffected by kratom. He usually waits an hour or so after dosing to eat, though. He has found that eating then doesn't affect the kratom's effects. He actually finds eating while on kratom very enjoyable.

I have also found this to be true. Eating an hour or so after ingesting the kratom seems to make it kick in very nicely.

My ferret agrees. She said a light meal also helps with any nausea (she likes cereal, kinda odd for a ferret, but hey).

I think that eating is second in enjoyability only to opioids. And combining them is, well, awesome.

I had some bali tea and can't wait to dominate some pizza.

promnthevs added 10 Minutes and 3 Seconds later...

Sorry, SWIM forgot to mention this and does not yet have the ability to edit posts.

There is one downside to eating after drinking kratom tea. It numbs the tongue and seems to affect (i.e. dull) the sense of taste.

true the tea does numb the tongue very much, but also take note that this also only seems to occur with bali, other types of leaves dont tend to cause this at all or near as much... kind of weird makes you wonder whats in bali that numbs the tongue...

Interesting... I have never noticed this before but looking back, the numbing does seem to be a lot worse with Bali.
