I take upwards of 60mgs of dex within 1/2 hour (40 by ingestion, 20 by snorting) two times a day. I get no euphoria out of it, my hunger was only suppressed for a week, and I find myself yawning and feel I can easily go to sleep!

The only real evidence of the drug in my system is dry mouth, and my heartbeat becomes fast and irregular when I stand up after sitting a while (is that causing a rise or drop in bloodpressure?).

I've read posts here about people getting euphoric and energetic off of dex. Does anyone else find themselves immune (or tolerant) to the recreational benefits of dex/adderall?

Also, if I'm tolerant/immune to dex/adderall, do you think I'd have a similar reaction (or lack thereof) to meth? If you've tried meth and tweaked big time, did you ever try dex/adderall before and also get a good high?

I have a natural tolerance to stimulants (ephedrine,
ritalin, dex, adderall, meth) so in order to get the euphoric feeling I
would have to take copious amounts...and I so rarely ever take
stimulants. But you would most likely feel meth cause it is a bit
powerful. I could definately feel it,

Also you probably built up a tolerance to adderall within that week,
the same has happened to me. After a week of abusing it, the crashes
would come at like 6 pm and not midnight (I would take the pills at
like 9 or 10 am) and by the fifth or sixth day I could barely feel the
adderall/dex. Also sex was damn near impossible...my sex drive would
    dissappear.

If you try meth, start off small, don't be an idiot and think you can handle a gram sized rail...

It affects some people differently -- I've known people who can take 80
mg and feel absolutely nothing. If I take 20 mg I'm in heaven.

I used to be prescribed #160 10mg IR Dexedrine every month and one night I decided last minute to role with a buddy of mine to a local Casino. Right before my friend picks me up I pop about 18 Dexedrine which comes to 180mg. At the time I had a fairly high tolerance, but my reason for such a large dose seemed very impulsive at the time, but I didn't think too much of it and since it was only roughly 10:00p
The night was young and the casino was waiting.

When we arrived at the casino the effects had started to come on with heavy euphoria and extreme mental stimulation. In the parking lot my friend and I smoked a bowl of blackberry Kush and the mix was quite nice.

Wants inside the card room my friend and I approached the black jack tables first. I myself am what you would call a novice gambler at best, however my friend was quite the opposite. I'm fact my friend is a gambling addict. However because I knew he was fairly skilled, just never knew when to walk away I had decided to take it upon myself to do this for him.

Right away we turned $300 into $500 then at one point I believe Wendy have even reached $1000, so of coarse I felt that was my que to stop now while we were ahead. By now it was around midnight and the effects of the Drxedrine were coming on extremely strong. In fact it was coming on too strong. Everything in a casino is already very loud, abrasive, and stimulating so when combined with the high dose of Dexedrine I had ingested things started to feel like the scene in Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. The lights glowed brighter, the voices grew louder, and my overall perception became highly distorted.

I finally made an attempt to convince my friend we should take a break a come back seeing we were up 700 bucks. Of coarse my anxiety which came heavy as a side effect of this extreme dosage held back my typically rational and persuasive self. Thus I was unsuccessful at dragging my friend away from the table. Sure enough his bets get bigger and so do his loses.

I myself started having an anxiety attack watching my friend loose all his money so I went to the lobby to try and catch my breath. Shortly after sitting for a moment the unwarranted stimulant induced psychosis began setting in and that's when things got really interesting. I was having auditory and mild visual hallucinations and all the while I was stuck here In a casino with a goddamn gambling addict.

Long story short, a smoked about 2 packs of cigarettes that night and never was able to convince my friend to take me home until it was already 5 o'clock in the morning, and the undesirable/terrifying effects of the Dexedrine had already begun to were off.

Lesson #1 do not ever over exceed your limitations with stimulants especially if your going to be in an unfamiliar place.
Lesson #2 Never go gambling with a gambling addict. Nobody wins.

Do you actually have ADHD? It can be fun to play with amphetamine every once in a while as a treat but don't chase it! Though, I suppose if you don't even get therapeutic effects you should switch meds or give up. The therapeutic effects aren't all that pronounced, so once the honeymoon phase is over many people assume their meds aren't working anymore and up the dose. That's what I did and it was a huge mistake. I fell into a cycle of picking up my prescription, taking my dose and feeling amazing, and increasing my dose the next day to replicate previous results. It's a frustrating dead end of an existence where you spend 2 weeks trying in vain to feel euphoria and spend the other 2 weeks out of pills, exhausted and depressed.

I learned my lesson and tapered down, managing to get even lower than my prescribed dose with the help of magnesium citrate, nootropics, and being realistic with myself.
