SWIM prepared some kratom tea about 4 weeks ago using 20 grams of dried kratom leaf. He separated the tea into 2 equal servings and stored them in tupperware containers.

He kept the tea in his fridge for about 5 days before he realized that he probably wouldn't be drinking the tea anytime soon. In order to preserve the tea, he added some vodka to the mixture. He placed the tea back into his fridge where it has sat untouched for the last 3 weeks. The mixture is about 80% kratom tea and 20% vodka (the vodka was 40% alcohol by volume).

So is SWIM still be safe to drink the tea, or is he better off just dumping the mixture? Also, how long do you think the tea will last before I should throw it out?
