so I've been jumping from syrups to gelcaps to sprays.. and now I've been doing the extractions. I know, you only end up with so little liquid and it would seem like nothing to down it, but I've been doing it a lot and its starting to get harder and harder to drink it because its just so godamn horrible..

is there anything that the extraction could be mixed with to better the taste??

If you can get a hold of a needle-less syringe (like the kind used for oral veterinary medicine [mine holds 1cc]), you can boil the liquid down to as little quantity as possible, fill the syringe (I usually have a little extra and has to do it twice), and shoot it down your throat (be careful not to choke yourself or whatever)... you can still taste the bitterness a little, but not near as bad as just swallowing it mixed in something (I don't think there's anything that can disguise the taste of that shit).

You could also get some big empty gel-caps(health/herb/hippy type
stores) and after you boil it down use the syringe to fill the caps.

I got an oral syringe with my cough syrup prescription, but have no
idea how to use it. I tried squirting it on the top of my tongue, and
on the bottom of my tongue, but both ways I can still taste it.

It's much easier and so very much cheaper to just buy pure powder
online. There's plenty of sources (although the very best source that I
think almost everyone used got shut down; could this be the start of an
online DXM prohibition?). Just type the chemical's name (full name or
short name) into google. The best sites are the ones that don't ask
what you're going to use it for. I've never heard of a bogus DXM seller
(except that one website that uses names like "illusion" for Research Chemicals and
claims to sell them for consumption perposes). The only thing you need
to watch out for are websites that sell DXM for consumption perposes or
websites that sell DXM and other "legal highs" like morning glory seeds
    and whatnot.

I don't think DXM tastes too bad though. I think the main reason
robitussin tastes bad is the alcohol in it. I dabbed a little powder on
my finger and put it on my tongue and it has a bitter taste similar to
    ear wax but stronger.
