K so SWIM belongs to an organization that has drug tests but he has a percription for percocet so if he tests possitive its ok. My question is, can he use any Opiate and be fine since he has a perscription? from Vicodin to Heroin will a possitive drug test just say positive for Opiates? Swim realizes that putting lots of Acemetaphine up his nose is probably worse healthwise than the oxycodone and wants to use heroin in order to put less junk up his nose. it seems healthier which may sound crazy. can someone give swim their thoughts especially about the drug testing?

Doing Heroin just because it doesn't clog up you's nose is a really bad idea. Heroin is a lot more addictive. You should do a CWE, evaporate the water untill a dry powder is left, and voila, only the opiate and the soluble binders are left, and no more paracetamol. This way You can snort his opiates even if the pills contain paracetamol.

Well there are other oxycodone pills such as Oxycontin, which are extended-release but have no APAP at all. So You could use those (which are less addictive than heroin) and cut them into small doses, i.e. cut 80mg Oxycontin into roughly 8 equal pieces, then crush up however many approx. 10mg peices You wants, and snort that. This way is much easier than going through a CWE and evaporation the powder, but You would have to have access to Oxycontin pills.

Is oxycontin THAT less addictive than h?They are both opiates and the thing I have noticed with a long life with opiates is that if you really get hooked on one you are hooked on all of them.Sure oxycontin might be slightly less addictive than heroin but I do mean SLIGHTLY.

That is very true, all opiates are addictive, some more than others. SWIdr would have to agree with You that oxycontin isnt that less adictive than heroin, but at least one knows what he is getting instead of buying street H (that could be mixed with some really harmful additives).

Snorting percocets is most certainly a waste and not that great an idea. The only opiate containing pills I know that can be snorted easily and to good effect are oxycontin,ms contin, and just plain morphine pills.

The thing about switching to h from percs is while you have a limited number of percs h is usually limitless. Percs are so controlled that you cant get them all the time for most people but h i so not controlled its everywhere,. hahah funny

oh yah most drug test used for govt probation or jobs will not screen for individual opiates. and h is less expensive but your tolerance will quickly build up and you will end up spending just as much or more depending on how you use it.

True, they won't screen for indicvidual opiates. They will, however, test for morphine in the urine, so if you've taken ANY (with the possible exception of oxycodone, but that's a different story) opiates, you'll fail.

It shouldn't show up. Usually, there's just a screen for Opiates, which the box will say "Morphine or Opium". There may be a much higher level of opiates for heroin though, if it's a more advanced test, like a blood or hair, but not for urine tests.

A few problems with the whole oxycodone explanation. It can be avoided with quick thinking. The problem with moderate to small usages of oxycodone being the reason why you failed the drug test is that morphine is not a major metabolite of oxycodone. So if you are using heroin you will fail. Wich means you are using large amounts of oxycodone. If you stick with your story you can easily say you were in more pain than ussuall or something.
