hey guys, swim recently started reading and reasearching about this plant. sounds very interesting, and I am very curious. however since I live in hawaii and kratom sounds like a plant that would do very well in hawaii's climate, I was wondering if this plant can be found here?
I could have sworn hes seen a plant with flowers very simmilar to kratom's. I would love to find out whether or not this plant is common here. also, i read somewhere that kraton prefers sandy well drained soil, would this exclude the possibility of finding this plant in a rainforest?

thanks for the info and help
