Apparently there is a slightdifference in the chemical structure of these.

Earlier in the FAQ he stated that studies show that LSD-25 gives one a "speedy" kind of feeling, while Lysergic acid gives one a more relaxed (smoother) trip. My question is, does anyone know which is more commmon on the streets? thanks in advance.

Lysergic acid is the precursor to make LSD. You can derive it from Ergotamine Tartrate - made from Ergot fungus.

Lysergic acid is active at the milli gram level, while LSD is at the micro gram level - you will not find blotter with lysergic acid on it - you can't get enough in the paper. Also, Lysergic acid, while producing effects similar to LSD, causes nausea, muscle cramping, etc. A close relative, ergine (lysergic acid amide) is found in morning glory seeds.

ALD-52 may be what you are looking at - it is almost identical to LSD, but supposedly does not have as much of an edge.
