I was ordering some powdered ma huang plant to help me loose some weight. I've read that you can make tea out of 2-4 grams of it but was wondering if you could just take the dry herb itself with the same results, and if so what would be the dosage for the dry ma huang.

    Thank you

Although i am not 100% sure, it seems to me that it would work with just the herb itself, the tea is probably just the easiest way to ingest it. The dosage should be the same in tea form as dry herb.

I prefer tea over powder. Tastes good as well.

The tea is called Mormon Tea. I could imagine it being absorbed more easily if you make a tea out of it.
