    hello everyone![IMG]

Has anyone experimented with various types of plant mulch to enhance ethnobotanicals. I got the idea to use the following as plant mulch ona peruvian tourch:

Passion flower(all parts of the plant)

    morning glory(all parts)

    coleus(leaves)

    datura(flowers, and few)

    Damiana(all parts)

    oriental poppy(stems)

    San pedro(flowers)

Does swim have any real hopes of strengthening a peruvian by way of Magic Mulch? Will anyalkaloids get absorbed this way,or Would the available chemistry just lie dormant in the soil?Swim, you see, is a curious lad, and such a prospect would be entirely dazzling to experiment with given the endless combinations.[IMG]

its a clever idea but i dont know how well it would work. like how
people tell you you can make strawberry flavored weed by watering it
with strawberry juice or whatever but its just a crock. but i dont know
much about growing anything. if any of those would have an effect it
might be the san pedro because mescaline's the active chemical in both
plants. it would be an interesting grow, but dont get your hopes up.

Well, I've seen people grow mushrooms with a coffee medium and the
shrooms grew about 3x the size they normally would have. I'll bet they
had caffeine in them as well. I think this is a good idea, although I'm
sure it depends on the plant and what's in the mulch. I'd love to find
out if anyone knows more about this.

I have heard of doping your plant with injections of dopamine (Mescaline's precursor in the cactus) to increase potency, but doubt most people can get a hold of it. It had been a research article.

And I have to go along with polloloco's assessment. Course you could always try it and let us know! Keeping a look out for any placebo type effects (maybe a double blind trip report or two).

I have also read that article on shooting up dopamine into your plants...it was very interesting but seems kind of ridiculous.
