Anyone believe that smokin a cigarette after weed actually gets you higher? iam asking this mainly to the people that would actually know... i have quit smoking weed and cigarettes at all different times, and it seems even when i wasn't a cigarette smoker, i felt like a cigarette would get me way more higher. What about the cigarette after can make someone feel so much higher? A cigarette would give someone a small buzz by itself, but the weed by itself should give someone a way better buzz. Something about that cigaretteafter gets you wayhigher. Maybe it is just fooling the brain into thinking you are smoking more weed?Is it the added smoke ortar,or is it the nicotine?

Don't cigarettes make your heart pump faster? Maybe more blood is
flowing to the brain, carrying more THC? I've also noticed this and
    it's hard to believe it's a placebo.

i think its all sort of a joke. maybe if you dont smoke cigs regular
you get dizzy or something but that is not being high that tis just not
properly handlinga cigarete. when i smoke after smoking weed its
enjoyable but thats just cuz i smoke cigarettes all the time.

I personally dont think it enhances your high. I usually smoke a cig after weed tho, it just gets me more relaxed.

after you smoke your weed smoke a clove (djarum are my favorites, blacks, specials, originals) and i garuantee you will get more high
or just smoke the clove by itself and you will feel like your on something

cloves taste good, but they dont get you high. i have smoked them after
weed as well and i didnt get higher. its a myth. its the placebo
effect. also, there is at least one other thread on this topic.

well then you aren't inhaling or they just don't effect you
i can sit and smoke 2 or 3 cloves and barely be able to get up and walk and have a great sense of euphoria
so itsn't not a myth i know first hand and smoking after weed again i know first hand
just like with anything else there will be people who won't be affected by them though
    just to clear that up

I have noticed that smoking a cigarette always kicks up my high, especially my good old dijarums.

I'm going to experiment with this, due to the surprisingly large number of people who report that tobacco makes them higher.

dude they are just cigs. there is nothing in them that makes you high.
i smoke cigarettes regularly and i inhale. there is nothing
psychoactive in clove cigarettes besides nicotine. dont just write
bullshit. they just plain and simply dont get you high, they are
    friggin cigarettes.

i have felt effects from nicotine (especially dip and nicitiana
rustica) that were perfectly in line with what he described. some
people get major nicotine buzzes, most don't.

i personally feel a bit higher if i smoke a cig after i finish a joint.

    Different fuels give more effects.

This question about mixing nicotine with THC, is similar to another Topic: Pot and LSD. In this combination, the Pot doesn't make me Trip harder, but it DOES give me a different Trip. The familiarity of the Pot effects, mixes with the Trip, and changes its frequency. This allows me to relax into the Pot effects, and set the LSD partially aside (from time-to-time).

Cigarettes are like that. It adds another Flavor to the Pot experience. Some people Like that combo-Flavor; these people get Higher . . . Higher in the sense that they have 2 Fuels burning inside them. The mellowness of the Pot, the Speediness of the Nicotine, and its companion relaxation.

This reminds me of SpeedBall (mixing Coke and Heroin). Logically, it should Speed you up (the Coke), and put you to Sleep (the Heroin). But it doesn't. Instead it produces a very different High.

So, if someone feels Higher when he mixes Nicotine and Pot, then he IS Higher. If someone doesn't feel Higher ... they AREN'T.

Everytime i was around cigarette smoke i felt sick because i would get
a headache, and the tobacco stinks so bad. So i've avoided even
standing near people who smoke until i was 22 1/2. Finally smoked
tobacco when it was mixed with weed and i was blown away. This
has been within the last couple weeks. I got some loose tobacco,
and ive experimented and smoked some unfiltered tobacco a couple
times. With about the amount in a regular cigarette I nearly fall
on my ass and can't function for about 3 minutes. It's more like
a nicotine high than a nicotine buzz. So when i make a joint or
bowl and make if 50/50, i get that major nicotine high along with the
weed high. I think they are pretty similar except that the nicotine
comes on alot faster and hard, and only last for a few minutes.
Then weed kicks in and keeps me high. I think they intensify each
other. I also like alcohol and weed because they intensify each
    other alot i think,

People who aren't used to tobacco can get headrushes, as I used to when
I first started smoking. It could make someone feel higher. Whether or
not it actually does I can only speak from my experience that Ive had
cigarettes or rollies (or roll-ups, whatever you wanna call them) and
for a few years now and never experienced anything.

Doesn't mean some people can't though....

If you don't smoke cigs regularly, you can get the head spins from smoking tobacco.

    swim prefers honey Dutch Masters

A cinnamon Philly is good too

Yeah, I agree with that comment at least...I quit smoking 5 months ago
(from like 1/2 pack a day), and now will smoke cigs maybe twice a
month? And when I do, it's very different from when I used to
    daily, ie a headrush etc.
