Swim is currently working a summer job in Wyoming and is having a hard time finding any bud. Swims girlfriend lives in another state, and was wondering how hard it would be to mail swim some pot brownies. Swims idea was to have her cook up some normal brownies, and throw a few pot brownies in a bag with them and send the via US postal service. Swim was wondering how doable this would be. Would pot brownies get through the US postal service undetected?

You can get buds shipped too you. They really never ketch it.

Use UPS ground. Make sure you ship it ground whoever the carrier. Don't do overnights and priority.

Also make sure you wrap the buds of really really tight in many layers of plastic wrap, inside a baggy. Stuff it in something like a shoe box.

SWIM moves around a lot and this is how he gets his drugs when he doesn't know anyone in the area, hes received cocaine as well with no problems.

    Wyoming...you poor bastard.

Watch a movie called "Never Get Busted". SWIM believes SWIY can find it on the net in stream form. Very informative.

Wyoming's laws against marijuana use/dealing is draconian, so be very careful. Getting busted via usps (or any other carrier) is a felony if trafficked across state lines, so make sure the utmost caution is taken. Otherwise, it shouldn't be a big deal. Seal it well and don't send it overnight.

Depending on what part of the state, attaining pot can be either quite difficult or very easy. SWIM's father lives in Wyo and has only ever been able to score ditch/brick weed. Low-mids are considered kind bud in his area. So he's always delighted when SWIM brings him home a package from the big city down south.

many people do it, but it is a felony itself to use the usps system for illegal activity even if not crossing state lines. dogs go through mail. swib does not think a dog can smell something in an airtight container, but not 100%. Dogs would be the the easiest way to get caught next to telling people.

As cowboy wrote in another post concerning the US mail, he had a couple of friends that was busted by the postal inspectors concerning MOM, and had a few more who houses was searched. The risks is too great for and who knows what kind of equipment they got to look at mail.

It is easy to do, hollow out a candle put the bud in something then in the candle refill w/ wax and make it look like it is normal then send off. king kong has done this many of times.

No matter how it is done, I think it's stupid. It's too much of a risk. Swim would just go without the bud...although most of the drugs he likes come in pill or powder form..so that's easier for him to say. Too bad Spice is pretty much off the market as far as I'm aware of.

Its gonna take a little more creativity than a stupid candle. Who sends candles to each other? Those are the kind of packages, when scanned with an x-ray machine, will get pulled for the canines later. Flat envelopes are never really given a second glance.

Brownies would be fine, but make sure they themselves are in an airtight container because they can get all nasty through the mail.

they have dogs yes off and on..so remember this!
When you pack it however you do..use surgical gloves do it in one room and then take it to another room after you pack it and wipe down the package real good
its the dust on the outside of the package that the dog smells!

take off the gloves after packaging then take in another room and wipe it down!
ground ship only ups or fedx no overnight.
A canning machine is the only

No matter how smart you think you are, the DEA has busted people far more creative than you can imagine. ((look up "DEA Microgram bulletin" to read about interesting DEA seizures and remember kids, don't post links to gov't sites!))

You can NOT fool a sniffer dog, people may get past them, but that does not mean that tactic will work a second time, dogs are animals and aren't perfect, they may make a mistake. No amount of plastic wrap will keep a stash protected.

X-rays will find drugs. Take a look at the bulletin above, people hide drugs in everything and they get caught. There's a mention of a kilo of heroin disguised as BEANS! 1 gram kidney beans, 2,000 of them, someone went to jail. People hide drugs in all sorts of things and the DEA finds them. Remember the DEA has thousands of people whose job, is to sit around and be smarter then us, they are well trained and good at what they do.

Take a good long look at that link, there's some mighty impressive stuff that has been seized. You want to play russian roulette ending in prison ass rape, knock your self out. How much is getting high worth? 5 years of your life, maybe 20? What about your girlfriend? How will you feel if she gets caught and goes to jail? That'd be a pretty shitty thing to do to someone, especially if you love them.

And shit, it's not like there aren't a million ethnobotanicle vendors out there with a whole range of grey market drugs availible if you really need something to pass the time.

Don't get prison ass raped, don't send drugs through the mail.

    Lol you have no clue.

    seriously.

Do you have any real experience with this shit are you just some person who reads stuff off the internet all day?

Those DEA confiscated shipments are coming in from different countries, they must go through customs, this is a completely different story than shipping drugs domestically.

First of all ground shipments aren't x-rayed, this is why people have already stated make sure too use a ground carrier.

Second of all, you can fool dogs SWIM has been doing it for years a long with a lot of other people. You say no amount of plastic can fool a dog... Proof? Small amounts of drugs hidden in packages are nearly missed almost 100% of the time. SWIM used to have a friend who worked at one of UPS's warehouses, where they sort and ship out millions of packages a day.

Third of all they can't take you to jail for receiving something in the mail, YOU CAN'T HELP WHAT PEOPLE SEND TOO YOU.

Forth of all they can't take the person to jail who sends it too you because they don't know who they are. In the US you can send packages too whoever you want without having to show I.d. or any proof of identification, use a fake return address a fake name and for all they know John Lennon just sent SWIY a kilo of cocaine from the fucken grave.

Lets leave this thread open to those who actually have experience using the mail for drugs, or people who worked in the business and know how things work.

Then again, swim has only received less than a few ounces a MJ, at a time. Obviously bigger packages will be more suspicious.

Is it possible to get arrested when sending drugs? Yes of course, nothing is without risk, but it would be very hard for them to press any real kind of charges receiving drugs through the mail. Just say you don't have any clue who send it to you it just showed up one day.

And to most swimmers out there ethnobotanicle Suck balls.

Postal inspectors is the ones ya'll need to worry about.....

Despite risks, dealers still mail illegal drugs
City police get tips from inspectors

Drug dealers continue to use the U.S. Postal Service as a low-cost way to ship their products to customers despite the risk involved

Recently the Poughkeepsie city police department's Neighborhood Recovery Unit intercepted four packages of marijuana totaling 57 pounds. The packages, which originated from the western part of the country, probably cost about $70,000 altogether, but had an estimated street value of about $250,000, according to Sgt. Richard Wilson, head of the city's Neighborhood Recovery Unit.

Poughkeepsie police were tipped off by the U.S. Postal Inspection Service.

Although the police department rarely intercepts that many drugs at one time, Wilson said it's not uncommon for them to seize drugs sent through the mail.

"It fluctuates," Wilson said. "Sometimes you'll see a lot of in a given year, and the next year it will drop."

Allan Weissmann, a spokesman for the U.S. Postal Inspector Service for the area between New York City and Kingston, said there were about 121 arrests involving cases of people trying to ship drugs in this region from January 2008 to the present. During that same time period, more than 250 pounds of cocaine, six pounds of heroin and 1,200 pounds of marijuana were seized.

Nationally, U.S. postal inspectors made 849 arrests in 2007 and 1,118 arrests in 2009.

Even though the Postal Service has proven to be a shaky option as far as drug transportation options go, people continue to press their luck, officials say.

"What motivates drug dealers is that they feel that they are anonymous when they send something out," said Peter Rendina, a spokesman for the Postal Inspectors Service. "The other thing is that they feel that they can send a few packages and maybe one or two slip through.

"If you have 10 pounds of marijuana, you don't want to drive across the county with that, because you'll be in a lot of trouble if you get stopped by the police if they realize what you're carrying," he added.

Rendina said everything from mustard and coffee grinds to axle grease is used to try and conceal the smell of narcotics from drug sniffing dogs. Postal inspectors look for certain characteristics when they're singling out suspicious packages.

"We can't just open up a package like the private carriers can to make sure there's nothing illegal inside," Rendina said. "But we have to preserve the sanctity of the letter. We need to have reasonable suspicion and then probable cause in order to get a search warrant."

With more than 150 years experience, the Postal Inspectors Service has become proficient at catching the senders of the package as well as the receivers, Rendina said.

"We don't just arrest whoever opens the door," he explained. "The Postal Service has no interest in helping anyone send drugs or drug paraphernalia through the mail and as law enforcement agency, we try ensure that no one gets away with it."
