    IUPAC Name: (RS)-1-(3,4-methylenedioxyphenyl)-2-(1-pyrrolidinyl)-1-butanone

    Formula C15H19NO3
    Mol. mass 261.316 g/mol

    Apparently developed/patented in the 1960's: Koeppe, Ludwig and Zeile. US Patent No. 3478050.

    Covered by the forthcoming cathinone ban in the UK. Legal status elsewhere unknown.

    This has shown up in "Bath Salts" being sold in the US. See this story: new "designer" drug, MDPBP identified in "Bath Salts"

    It has also been found as part of a mixture with other substituted cathinone derivatives, including flephedrone, pentylone and MDPV in the branded product "NRG-1" in the UK. Paper in the archives HERE

    I'm seeing this pop up on websites lately. I can find little info about it other than apparently it can be mixed with saffrole to make MDMA (and that bit about the "NRG-1" product).

    That sounds good, but if it's anything like MDPPP it's probably not very effective on its own, which might be why its previous exposure to the RC scene was in mixtures.

    The ferrets were very disappointed with this as they had high hopes that it would be a better alpha pbp. It was very much as straight, short acting stimulant and did not have much of a rush when IVed. Max IV dose 100 mg. Other routes even less interesting.
