Well,I used to really enjoy weed, but I've stopped smoking it since 5
weeks now, because I had an experience where, just before seeing nice
things, I felt a 'pins and needles' kind of feeling in my heart, and
then felt it pumping liek hell and I could see it pumping through my
shirt, although everything I concentrated on was wiggling a lot.

Anyway, my heart hasn't really felt too good since then, but I love seeing things so much that I need something new.

I've never done shrooms before, and have heard that there's some which
don't affect the heart. Can you give me as much advice as possible on
    this subject, please?

    Thanks a lot, guys.

You really shouldnt have been seeing anything from herb. It is classified as a halluciongen, but I've never heard of anyone really seeing anything. As far as your heart, there's something not right there. I'd be very careful doing anything before you figure out whats going on.

    Peace,

Well I never see anything like mystical dragons and stuff, just
fingers, toes and legs twitching, and everything going around as if it
were a dodgy movie reel. Little things like that.

Anyway, thanks for your help. I'll probably go see a doctor or something.

Doctors are 100% confidential even if you tell them you've broken the law, right?

Oh by the way, I've heard a few others in the forum saying their heart
was beating like hell after taking drugs, and my heart is fine when I
don't think about it, so I'm thinking maybe it's just me being a
    hypocondriac.

    I dunno.

Often times people who smoke weed after a long period without it will get this effect. Alot of older folks report this as well. I'm not sure about potential health hazards but if your body is saying something isn't good than it's usually best to listen.

Yeah, I suppose you're right. As I seem to be improving, I guess I may as well stay off the drugs till I feel 100% good.

My problem is quite the opposite to what you're saying though, because
I'm getting very gradually better, so I don't think it's to do with
    withdrawals.

Thanks a lot for ya help. Lol, I'm only 18, so hopefully I don't have any old man prblems just yet.

Ive smoked weed that has made me hallucinate before, so you cant say WEED DOESNT DO THAT. More than likely however, it was a panic attack you experienced. I quit smoking weed for years because I was plagued by them. Same effects your talking about. Have your Dr. run an ekg on ya. Only takes a minuite. As far as muchrooms go, its very easy to get into panic mode, so make sure that someone is there who is experienced, or have a trip sitter who can talk you away from the dark side, and startwith a small dose to getthe feel for them. No sense in ruining yourself to these awsome fungi.

OneDiaDem, you seem to no everything, and you've made my day.

One last question though. What's an ekg?

i've had this problem too, i used to smoke fairly often..just kinda came along one time and my heart was beating fast, i thought nothing of it and kept smokin..well now my heart has never slowed down its always 130 beats per minute and up resting heart rate (60-70 beats per minute is average) anyways i would def. go to the doc and see whats going on because i've had some bad episodes and been in and out of the ER lately. for an EKG all they do is put sticky things on your chest and legs and hook u up to a machine which shows abnormal heartbeats and such..like dia said only takes a minute and def. worth making sure your ok.

OneDiaDem I didn't say it couldn't, I just said I didn't know if it ever happening, I gotta get some of that stuff you had [IMG]As far as an EKG, that's an electro cardio gram, basically a heart test. Fairly standard stuff. I do remember hearing a few years back that THC had a similar effect on the nervous system as excercise, but I don't know where that came from.

    Peace,

my heart has done that a few times as well, or its beating will get odd or unusual at times
