firstly, i want to know how many pods to use. i have never done it before so i am just wondering how may pods to use for a first time attempt.

secondlt, i have read that you can use the stems and leaves, is this true?

thirdly, to make the tea do they have to be dry or can you use fresh ones and boil them to make the tea?

Poppy tea is very nasty to get down for many, so perhaps try flavoring it with plenty of honey.

I just cooked a batch of 200 poppies. But like sands of time said I cant stand the taste. What I do is extract it then reduce it till you have a thick syrup. Then put it in the oven on realy low untill dry. Then you can swallow it in hard little balls. This way you can also weight out your dose.
