Swim is wondering about mixing a tincture of shrooms and alcohol, would it be good?

Combining alcohol with psilocybe mushrooms is not a good idea, as the risk on a bad experience increases. Alcohol is a conscious narrowing/numbing drug, while magic mushrooms are conscious expanding. Makes as much sense as taking downers with uppers.

the uppers/downers analogy isn't really the best. Ask anyone that shoots speedballs and they'll tell you exactly why. Mixin uppers with uppers would probably be more appropirate.

But as for the mix? Terrible idea. Alcohol makes people think stupid, irratic, and emotionally unstabe. Then adding mushrooms would just be too much of a mindfuck. you're completely stolid to all emotion if you make it.

SWIM considered this as a method of storing psilocybin, but then him and his friends never got round to going picking last year so it didn't happen.

If swim were to do it, he'd either use a small amount of mushrooms to give his wine an extra twinkle, or a large enough amount that a glass would be enough for a decent mushroom experience without the effects of the alcohol being noticable.
