Okay, I've heard all about putting 151 proof alcohol or 99% isoprophyl into a dish with salvia to extract it, but I'm concerned about the acetone. What kind should I use? I've had this in my house and just realized it was there about a day ago. Will this be ok?

acetone is a great, but you need to make sure you are well ventalated when you use it and make sure it's completely dried out before you smoke the salvia :)

So this particular type of acetone (above) will be fine to use?

    <div style="text-align: center;">G</span>ood
deal. I thought I might have to have some other, more
hardware-store-like acetone to evaporate with it. Thanks for the info,
and as soon as I can cough up some salvia to extract, I'll post my
    methods and use.

Good post... Smoking pure salvinorin A wouldn't be to smart, though... It is more potent then acid... This is for making a standardized extract or tincture.
