Two people I know are going to Amsterdam. They have acid and plan on doing shrooms, but only doing half a tab of acid each, because they tripped recently and only really want subtle "feel good" effects. They want to each take half a tab in a day, just because one person has one tab remaining and doesn't want it to go to waste. They're apparently going to make tea with the shrooms as one of the people has a weak stomach. Any knowledge or opinions on taking a normal dose of shrooms a day after half a tab?

As with nearly all psychedelics, even small doses induce a rapid downregulation of the receptors involved in their action. A small dose of LSD on one day will absolutely reduce the effectiveness and character of the mushrooms on the following day. Many people find that a good portion of the emotional quality of psychedelics are diminished with tolerance, as are many of the sensory effects. It would be better to spread these drugs out with at least 10-14 days in between.
