    Vitamin B12
Vitamin B12, also known as cobalamin, is a B complex vitamin necessary for the proper functioning of your nervous system. It helps the body produce fats that coat nerve endings, allowing them to heal and restore proper function. Vitamin B12 is also needed for the proper function of your liver, which is damaged by the toxins in methamphetamine. This vitamin works with folate to produce brain chemicals that can help stabilize mood and boost immune system function. You can obtain this vitamin from dairy products, eggs and meat products.

    Vitamin C
Vitamin C may help remove methamphetamine toxins from your bloodstream, speeding the withdrawal process, according to Dr. James Balch and Phyllis Balch, authors of "Prescription for Nutritional Healing. Vitamin C is a natural immune system booster, and can aid your body in destroying bacteria and viruses that can cause illness during withdrawal. You can increase your intake of vitamin C by consuming lemons, limes, oranges, avocados, spinach, broccoli, strawberries, papayas and tomatoes. But remember, Avoid drinking fruit juices or taking vitamin C at the same time you take methamphetamine. These can make your body absorb less of the medicine.

    Vitamin B5
Vitamin B5, also called pantothenic acid, is known as an anti-stress vitamin, according to the Balches. It may help curb feelings of nervousness and anxiety during methamphetamine withdrawal. It also aids in the production of neurotransmitter chemicals, such as serotonin and norepinepherine, that may help restore cognition and memory function. Vitamin B5 enhances your body's ability to metabolize fats, carbohydrates and proteins, which provides energy to combat fatigue associated with the withdrawal process. You can obtain vitamin B5 from food sources such as lean beef, mushrooms, hazelnuts, rye bread, eggs and black beans.

    Amino-Acids
The use of meth creates a chemical imbalance within the brain that can affect the swimers mood. For example, dopamine levels are greatly reduced in users as well as norepinephrine levels.
The amino acids L-Phenylalanine and L-Tyrosine can assist in bringing these levels back up to a normal level as well as improving the overall mood and feeling of well-being
In order to assist the brain in healing damaged neurotransmitters, vitamins and supplements that contain amino acids are essential. For example, GABA (Gamma Aminobutyric Acid), seratonin and dopamine are all indicated as being helpful for brain function.

    vitamins containing amino acids...
1.* cal mag zinc amino acid chelate*
    2. TwinLab L-Tyrosine Plus 500MG - 100 Capsules
    3. Source Naturals BCAA Branced-Chain Amino Acid
    4. Folic Acid with Vitamin B-12 800 mcg 250 tabs...
These are the more potent ones all available at you local Pharmacy. The First of numbered containing very potent essentials. (good thing)

    Staying Clensed
Vitamins that support the liver and adrenal systems can also be useful in this situation.
For example, milk thistle has long been used as a liver restorative.
Taking vitamins and amino acids is vital for a recovering meth addict, but eating right can support these efforts and help the affected person remain normal for longer periods of time. Eating a properly balanced diet free of refined and processed sugars, animal fats and coffee or caffeinated beverages can assist the body in the recovery process.

    Q-10
This aids in circulatory functionality as well as mineral and medicine absorbtion rates.

    synopsis
Swimmers can benefit not only from the vitamins and amino acids mentioned above, but also a daily broad spectrum vitamin.

And Last but not Least by any means normal sleep and an abundance of water.

I highly recomend reserching each vitamin to ensure safety. Some peoples make-up is not the same as the Generall Mass incinuating differant reactions for each individuall.

    Hope This was of USE

doc, much has been said about the body's inability to digest, process, and/or gain any real effect from vitamins in pill form. "you just piss it all out" .... or even "poop it out" is something I've heard many times. it seems to AFOAF that when on crank the body's digestive powers are even further compromised....if you have a second can you give your opinion on this conundrum? perhaps liquid vitamins? or maybe dissolving the vitamins in water first and then drinking it?

captain_blade added 1 Minutes and 36 Seconds later...

    btw doc - no booze?

    You certainly did, thank you.

but not the second question...which was - you aren't including booze on that list?
reason I ask is because it's my opinion that every crankster should have an emergency supply of booze handy whenever they tweek. It can literally be a life saver in certain situations. Its my opinion that there just is no other drug that can better chase away sketchiness than booze, not too mention also elevating the mood, and keeping the blood thin and flowing. AFOAF shutters to think what might have happened to him had he not had an 18 pack of beer to drink, to survive him through "one of those nights".

I would include booze on my list, and all joking aside, a decent amount of porn. The therapuetic benefit that whacking it (or flogging it, for lady swimmers) can have on a horrible comedown is just astronomically immense, mostly due to the fact that your mind will be enveloped in what you're doing so much so that it will be unable to feel any kind of negative anxiety or sketch, therefore almost like a nice power nap, gives you a vital diversion from your torturous state. anecdotaly the word fun in spanish is "diversion". ;)

My cat definitely agrees with captain blade about booze. Although it may not be good for you whenever my cat starts to get really sketched out and paranoid it's the best thing he can ask for.

In moderation a good blood clenser and digestive aid. Might be cautioned with Moderation. Small amounts of wine have shown to increase heart health. Emphasis on small amounts. Remember when mixing with a stimulant it is hard to gauge effects. Not to mention both dehydrate you. Be sure to have a belly full of water and food before administrating this method.

many years ago i was slammin a quarter to a half (gram) with my neigbour on the weekends for a while. at the start of it all we had the regement of dosing ourselves with liquid vitamin b12 complex, looked like yellow syrup. this stuff was veterinary grade btw and we would inject intramuscularily.

he told me that taking b12 pills even on a full stomach will waste allot of vitamim, so by injecting the b12 you eliminate that problem. i used to get light headed and my vision would be like as if i was about to faint after a shot. it was the same for the first couple of injections but they went away. overall the rush was more immobilizing than a strong shot of meth, but less euphoric obviously. oh yah and your skin would get really tingly and hot . sort of like a Niacin overload

anyways, im not to sure i can say that the b12 helped because it was just when i started using meth at 17 and didnt have any prior meth comedowns. i took a half a year off during my 4 year stint, and for the remainder i had lost contact with my friend and forgot about the b12; i went back to meth and only sought the rush of the IV route. i can tell you for sure that the second half of my prior meth use was a shitload shittier, in terms of coming down.
