I just started taking Tramadol. I'll have to wait and see if it gives me weird dreams, though. Yesterday was my first day taking it, but I don't remember any weird dreams from last night. If it does happen, I'll be sure to report back here to this thread with any experiences. :)

I have had MANY very trippy dreams on tram! Very lucid and i wake up remembering much more than normal. Plus since tramadol makes it hard for me to sleep, i have trouble telling when i was awake, or just dreaming that i was awake...

It did start. I am having very lucid dreams, and weird ones too. Most are too private to share.

Ya know that's really funny cuz I'm a heroin addict and was using trams to ween my usage, not so much to stop but to get my tolerance down a bit. Anywho, 2 nights in a row now I've had these crazy vivid dreams and they're clearly just desires of mine but it's interesting how detailed they were, and on top of that I could remember most of the dream after waking when normally I don't. I dig it though, I feel super refreshed and i don't wake up in withdrawals which is great!

Common side effect which occurs with many drugs that act upon serotonin like SSRIs etc. Tramadol has properties similar albeit weaker, to many anti-depressants particularly Venlafaxine.
