Hi guys. SWIM has recently been taking moderate doses of vyvanse recreationally and has a small tolerance to amphetamines right now, but nothing major.
First question: How quickly does a vyvanse tolerance build, and to what degree
Second: How long does vyvanse last IF you have a tolerance of some sort.
Last: If SWIM took vyvanse at about 6:30 pm (60mg) and he has taken 50's a few days in a row how long should this keep him up for? And also, if he wants to sleep would benadryl help at all?

    Thanks

SWIM also takes Vyvanse recreationaly a few times a week. He usually takes 180mg (x3 60mg capsules) orally at the same time he feels a great increase in motivation & stays awake 18-24 hrs usually. He always feels the same effects whether he takes 60mg or 240mg (highest he has gone) of Vyvanse only the intensity level changes. So he can't tell you for sure how long that 60mg will keep SWIY awake, but thinking back to his first experiences with Vyvanse it kept him awake an average of 14 - 18 hrs, but everyone's body & metabolism is different. Lastly he has taken benadryl (2) to get some rest after getting high on Vyvanse & it worked but only for a small two hour nap not the rest he was hoping for although when he woke from the nap he felt as if he slept 8hrs and had no problem finishing the rest of the day. Hope at least some of this story/info helped!

That's interesting about the Benedryl and sleep. SWIM has taken benadryl (also 2) to sleep when he's realized he won't be able to and it helps him to relax, but he also feels really dizzy and weird after he has taken it. It makes napping or sleeping easier though. And he's also managed to sleep the whole night sometimes even after taking it late, however it seems as though the sleep is second rate or something as he gets less rest for the same amount of sleep.

SWIM just took a 50 not wanting to get too cranked up but just wake up and focus, so far it seems like those other 220 or so mg he's taken over the course of about 4 days during last week may have built up on him as it's still pretty weak after a good 30 mins.

vyvanse lasts a loooong time. A solid 10 hours before you sleep. At 8 or so you might think you're ready to get some shut eye, and the next thing you know you're at hr 12.

As for tolerance, the first day you'll be buzzin' pretty good if you hit the right dose (normally at least 50mg for a solid speed) but by day 2 you kind of get used to it. It's a super smooth drug so you'll still be speeding, but won't have that geeked feeling that aderall would give.
When it comes to re-dosing, waiting at least an hour for your lysine enzymes to keep up is best. If not you hit a ceiling dose, wasting product. So start decent, then small doses spaced apart instead of a good dose, wait, good dose.
