    Yes, LSD and LSD-25 refer to the same chemical.

    My understanding is that when Mr Albert Hoffman was making lsd he tried various methods of synthesis. His 25 try was the best method. Ergo LSD-25. Not 100% sure of the accuracy of it but it is what I had read.

    I think LSD-25 was the 25th molecule he synthesized based around the central lysergic acid component.

    hmmm,thanks but im still confused seeing as ive known what lsd-25 is from my pre-forum days.maybe someone used my account i left open ow well it does not matter that much.

    A lot. Though they're both 5-HT agonists and hallucinogens, 25I-NBOMe is a phenethylamine, whereas LSD is an ergoline. Both are active in very low doses, but LSD has a much better safety margin than 25I-NBOMe.
